Commission Studio

Welcome to the Evil Cat painting studio. We are a small, yet professional studio located in the Ottawa, Ontario region. We endeavor to provide open communication, professional service and transparency throughout the whole process of your commission project.

Evil Cat was born out of a love for the hobby of miniature wargaming. We are a couple of bros that love to play with and paint miniatures. We figured one way to share this love is through a commission painting studio. We understand that some people share the same passion we do for playing miniature wargames, but less-so for painting the actual models. The community seems to be moving towards painted armies in events and tournament, and I think we can all agree that there is a little magic to witnessing two beautifully painted armies facing across the battlefield. Therefore, a commission paint studio offers that alternative for you. You get the quality you want at a competitive price.

The studio offers miniature painting and custom terrains services. We offer several layers of painting that should satisfy any tabletop standard you require. Of course, we recognize our limits and at this time will not accept orders for display/showcase pieces. For these type pieces we suggest Arcane Paintworks. We just recognize the amazing talent that exists out there and wouldn't feel right offering it.

A significant portion of the profits generated by the studio go towards improving the war-gaming community in the Ottawa, Ontario and online. For example, some of the profits go towards audio-visual equipment for a local YouTube channel, towards forum and web-site hosting, and event planning. Of course, another significant portion of the profits go to our artists (and they seem to enjoy spending it on more hobby).
