FAQ

Q: How long will my order take?

A: This is very dependent on project size and complexity. When you contact the Evil Cat team an anticipated deadline will be provided with your quote. If completion of a project is time-sensitive we may be able to offer an expedited project at additional cost depending on the present workload of the studio.

Q: How did you come up with your prices?

A: Our prices were generated based on industry standards gathered from various other painting services across North America, and then adjusted for currency. Of course, because of the region and given we are a smaller, part-time team these prices have been adjusted (lowered) to offer a competitive and quality-driven service.

Q: Can I contact an artist directly?

A: Absolutely! Our business manager Logan assigns projects based on area of expertise of the artist and workload, if you need to speak to an artist directly to discuss your project he will be happy to provide to you their contact information (most of which can be found on the Contact tab above).

Q: Is their a deposit required for the work?

A: Yes there is. This will be mentioned in the quote. Keep in mind that painting miniatures takes a lot of personal time for the artists and so it protects their time investment should you decide to end the project prematurely. If you want the studio to purchase the models, the cost of the models will be included in the deposit.

Q: What if I am not happy with the results? Can I get a complete refund?

A: Admittedly, this is difficult. When you contract commission painting, hopefully, you've assessed our gallery and deemed the quality of work in line with your expectations of the outcome of the project. Of course, we make every effort to ensure you are satisfied with the end result. The deposit for the work and cost of the models is non-refundable; however, only under extreme circumstance will a discount be applied to the final quote should you be unsatisfied with the work.

Q: Do you offer discounted services?

A: Our prices have already been discounted to offer a competitive product. Under some circumstance, though, additional discounts may be applied depending on the project, and repeat use of the service.

Q: Can you use my army for a YouTube channel video on 1PlusArmour?

A: This is up to you! If you want to, absolutely! Of course, keep in mind that this may delay somewhat the delivery of the project since we would have to organize time to film it.
